Paul Lehmann is an actor and writer working in theatre, film and television. Born and brought up in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, he began his training as an actor in London before going on to study with Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Recent work includes Inherit the Wind at the Old Vic Theatre, directed by Trevor Nunn.
Paul began writing when he successfully adapted works by Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for his own company, Footloose Theatre. He then spent two years studying playwriting with Bernard Kops and Tom Ryan as part of their weekly playwriting group. He has since completed his first stage play, Barking Mad and is currently writing a play for radio, Between the Cracks.
'Paul Lehmann demonstrates both versatility and mental agility... he is the gaunt authoritative figure of Sherlock Holmes himself.'
